All the technicians are fabulous and we will continue for the life span of our beloved Schnauzer.Groomers use an abbreviated technique for squeezing the anal glands. We take our 4-legged baby to Bressi for nail trims and anal glands. They're fast an efficient, and our dog has NEVER dragged her butt on the floor (a sign of discomfort due to anal glands being full (or worse: clogged).Dr. Kinney at Bressi Ranch Pet Hospital has never EVER given us anything but excellent care and thorough, LOVING treatment of our precious Schnauzer. We recently moved to Carlsbad from San Jose. We made an appt with Bressi Ranch Pet Hospital soon after we arrived and the staff could not have been more helpful and took the time to help me identify the best place to get food for my dog.We went to VEG on a Saturday which was recommended by BRPH thank goodness we made it there just in time.We had already set up an appt at BRPH for the following week. The waiting area is large and clean. This made our little dog more comfortable than any other office we have visited in her 16 years. We met Dr Lax after a brief wait. He asked to take our nervous little girl into his arms and proceeded to sit down and pet her calmly. We have never experienced anything like it anywhere. No other vet had ever taken this approach to making our dog more comfortable. She would shake violently in other offices but quickly became calmer as the doctor proceeded to examine her and go over our history and visit to VEG.Dr Lax recommended making a change to the medication and I can honestly say that he nailed it. We no longer have to give her one of the medications and she is doing great. Dr Lax also gave us expectations for future care which gave us peace of mind.Thank you to all at Bressi Ranch Pet Hospital. You made a difference in the way we feel about going to the vet!

I am absolutely Blessed to have found BRPH. I don't even know where to begin. The facility is spacious and immaculate. The staff including the front desk, technicians and doctors are all incredibly nice and compassionate. I notice over the years the same people still working there, and that speaks volumes to me about the business / management side. Having full hours on Saturday is a big plus (it used to also be Sunday which was even better). Besides being nice, I'm pretty sure the staff is the best in their field as well, time and time again I walk away pleased with our visits. The pet boarding is a whole other bonus, I think they are the best anywhere, their attention to detail and the cleanliness and peacefulness of the facility makes me feel very comfortable leaving our "kids" in their care. The great benefit to me, is that it's veterinary technicians that care for them so if went wrong they would spot the issue in a moment and how great is it they're already at a hospital with doctors!
